The National Mating season

Hello Hello!
*Blames the lazy bug for the lack of any new posts*

Everybody knows that December until February is the National Mating season. So, BRACE YOURSELVES as there will be loads of people getting either married or engaged on almost every weekend. It is kinda tiring to attend ALL of them y'know?

I am never a big fan of going to weddings unless they are super close to me or they are my family members. Besides avoiding the pain of being bombarded with the "Million Dollar Question" of WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO GET MARRIED, I just don't really like having to prepare myself up. Yeap, I admit that I'm a Lazy Bum!

So, last December was the engagement day for my younger Stepsister, Sheril ( YES, she is a year younger than me) and here are some of the pics I managed to snap during whatever time I had.

With the bride-to-be Sheril!
Me with my brother, Emir

My parents wanted to re-live their moments too! :p

With my younger cousin and her 2 (Yes, TWO) kids.

Managed to snap a pic at my old High School which is strategically located next to my house ;)

AR1 is showing his love for Teddies just like his beloved Aunt (Me)

And these are some pictures from my cousin Apis's wedding in JB last week. I just love family reunions like this!

Bersama Ustazah Sipak, bakal Ketua Wanita UMNO  2035

He is only 12 and he is as tall as I am!

YEAP! I had to eat using my fingers BOO-HOO!

From KL to JB, HERE WE GO!
The newlyweds

My catch of the day: Some sweets & coins *KA-CHING!*

Look at my cousin's daughter super round & cute face!
Now you know where do I developed that love for cameras from.
Oh how I ADORE my crazy family!

I love the camera but the camera don't love me back :(
Too lazy to wear a Baju Kurung

Until the next mating season then!

The Bucket List

“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”

― C.S Lewis

I'm pretty sure everyone has their own hopes & dreams that they wanna achieve before they die.

As for me, my ultimate dream is to

So, what is on
Whatever they are, may all your dreams come true...

All the best! ;)

Nope, I'm not gonna post about that some sort of the dance thingy that you do with your hands.
I  know this might sound cliche but when they say that 'the best Ship is FRIENDSHIP', I had no choice but to agree.

But what baffles me is the negative public perception on the friendship between male and female.
I really do not see what is wrong in being friends with the opposite sex because me myself has a few close guy friends. Actually, I think I have more guy friends compared to girl friends.

Maybe because I'm not so girly girlish myself. So I feel belonged being friends with boys. Even my group of girl friends are not so girlish themselves. We're just a bunch of 'unique' girls.
(I dare not say 'weird' or they'll bash me up! :p)
As long as you are honest and know how to put that invisible limit line between yourself, Insya Allah they will respect you as a lady.
In fact, it could be better because you can exchange opinions & tips especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
*wink wink*

Now, meet my friend Sleazy.

Well, his name is actually Habil, but I think you can see why we called him Sleazy..
He is my classmate in Uni. He may looked like a serial killer but he is actually a ladies man. We've been friends for almost 5 years now. We don't see each other quite often since graduating but when we do, we can talk and talk for hours without realising the time. We used to spend our time checking out pretty girls & he'll always asked me to do his dirty works by forcing me to go asked any girls phone numbers. YES! I feel so used!

And now, meet Nizam.

I've been friends with this future doctor since I was 18. GOSH! He may looked like you can bully him anytime but believe me, this sinister 26 year old is ULTRA sarcastic and be warned, his sharp tongue can and WILL bleed you ears!
After knowing him for too long, my ears are already immune to his heart-thrusting words.
I don't even know how on Earth I can stand being friends with this dude.

Lastly, say hi to Danial

He is my senior back in Uni.His friends called this Architect Danny Boy because well...for obvious reasons. Nothing much to say about him except for the fact that we'll fight all the time and he'll end up sulking like a girl.
But he is reliable nonetheless. Always there for me whenever I need a friend to talk too.

I can share almost anything with these fellas and vice versa. I can be my crazy, sarcastic, goofy self around them without being judge negatively. I appreciate them to bits & I'm always thankful that they always looked after me like the older brothers that I never had.

Thank You Dudes!

Its ME again.
Still remember?

After 'vacationing' from blogging for almost a year (blame the busy work schedule & the laziness), I'm back again!

This time I determined to keep on rambling random stuffs on my Blog (Yeah, RIGHT!), Insya Allah...

If you can notice, there's a LOT of changes had happened this past year.
New workplace, new house, new people, new life and most importantly, a brand spanking new ME!

YUP! I've changed my physical appearance but I still am the same person (more or less) on the inside. Still quirky, perky & the crazy old me. I still love foods more than anything else, still feel like I'm forever 18, I still have passion for fashion and the sight of cute boys still excites me.

I'm changing just to be a better person to those most dear to me but most importantly, I'm changing for myself.

I guess that's it for now. I really need to go or my Mama will start yelling for me to shower.
(And YES, even after being 18 (+7) years old, I still haven't resolved my issues with showering :P )

Commuting Commuter

Posted by miera angela , Monday, July 18, 2011 5:26 AM

Last Sunday, my aunt invited me to her house for a Kenduri because My grandma is gonna be there as well...
I haven't seen them for quite a while u see~
So I am excited as I am in despair.

I dreaded my life every single time I had to go there on my own not because I don't like her or anything...
Its just that she lives somewhere near Petaling Jaya so the best way to get there is by the last thing on the planet I wanna get involved with:

Reasons why the hell I & (and everyone else) hated using the Commuter so damn much:
1. They are NEVER on TIME!
2. Sure feels like being in a sardine can in especially during peak hours even in the Ladies Coach!
The 'doubted' lady in front of me..picture got blurred cause I was shaking while snapping this picture & pretended that I was texting~
Paparazi SANGAT!

and last but not least...

3. The SMELL!!!!!

Have u ever sat or stand next to a *coughs* foreigner *coughs* that doesn't even know that DEODORANT ever existed????

It is VERY sad how we all don't have any other choice but to depend on the unreliable~

Are You Happy?

H A P P Y. . .

One simple word that is not too simple to achieve.

Its hard to make everyone happy when all u wanted is to make them happy~

Especially to those we love the most...

Have U ever tried ur very best to make someone happy?

Have U ever got drenched in the cold rain at night just to buy a gift for ur little brother just because he got 2nd in class?

Have U ever got drenched in the cold rain at night just to buy a gift for ur elder sister & brother-in-law's 2nd wedding anniversary?

Have U ever???

Without asking anything in return, all U ever wanted is to carve a smile on their faces...
The faces that U love so very dearly but,

They don't even look or glance at all at U, and even say hurtful things...

Bet it is true when people say the ones U love will hurt u the most.
But still, U just can't help wanting to make them happy because they are above all, ur FAMILY~

It brings me great joy to see people around me happy.
Perhaps I just didn't try hard enough....

An Unwanted Scene

Posted by miera angela , Tuesday, May 24, 2011 5:56 PM

Yesterday was just another day in the office...

There is only ONE toilet here so everyone gotta share.
Was having one of my 'Nature Call' so I head straight to the toilet & checked if anyone was inside.

:: silence ::

All clear!

Was opening the door when suddenly:
(well, u get the picture...)

Its a good thing I didn't see ANYTHING that could give me nightmares.
And its a good thing that computer guy was backing the door...

I kinda shrieked a bit in shocked & was a little phobia to go into the toilet for the rest of the day...

I tried to avoid any eye contact with that poor guy or I might burst out laughing!

So lesson of the day is:

Thank you...
