Last Sunday, my aunt invited me to her house for a Kenduri because My grandma is gonna be there as well...
I haven't seen them for quite a while u see~
So I am excited as I am in despair.

I dreaded my life every single time I had to go there on my own not because I don't like her or anything...
Its just that she lives somewhere near Petaling Jaya so the best way to get there is by the last thing on the planet I wanna get involved with:

Reasons why the hell I & (and everyone else) hated using the Commuter so damn much:
1. They are NEVER on TIME!
2. Sure feels like being in a sardine can in especially during peak hours even in the Ladies Coach!

The 'doubted' lady in front of me..picture got blurred cause I was shaking while snapping this picture & pretended that I was texting~

Its hard to make everyone happy when all u wanted is to make them happy~
Especially to those we love the most...

Without asking anything in return, all U ever wanted is to carve a smile on their faces...
The faces that U love so very dearly but,
NOTHING.....

They don't even look or glance at all at U, and even say hurtful things...

Bet it is true when people say the ones U love will hurt u the most.
But still, U just can't help wanting to make them happy because they are above all, ur FAMILY~

It brings me great joy to see people around me happy.
Perhaps I just didn't try hard enough....

An Unwanted Scene

Yesterday was just another day in the office...
WORK WORK WORK!

There is only ONE toilet here so everyone gotta share.
Was having one of my 'Nature Call' so I head straight to the toilet & checked if anyone was inside.

:: silence ::

OK!
All clear!

Was opening the door when suddenly:
(well, u get the picture...)

Its a good thing I didn't see ANYTHING that could give me nightmares.
And its a good thing that computer guy was backing the door...

I kinda shrieked a bit in shocked & was a little phobia to go into the toilet for the rest of the day...

I tried to avoid any eye contact with that poor guy or I might burst out laughing!
=p

So lesson of the day is:

KNOCK BEFORE YOU ENTER!

The 3rd Time Rookie

I was suppose to start working on the 1st of June, at an architecture firm in K.L which is quite close to Akak's house.
This is gonna be my 3rd working place in 6 months!

When Sararaww called me last Friday saying that the boss wants me to assist him in an important meeting this Wednesday, I agreed~

Now, I kinda regretted my decision...

Last week had been a SUPER hectic week for me because of job interviews & my convocation ceremony. I even promised Mr.Apek to help out his auntie at her bazaar booth on Saturday.

So that only left me Sunday to move my stuffs (which is, A LOT!) out of my rented room to Akak's house in K.L.

I NEED A REST!!!!!!!

OK!
If I wanna save up some money (and energy) for the trip to my office, I had to ask Akak to drop me off on her way to work which is quite close...
School starts at 7 a.m so I had to wake up before 6 & arrive at the office BEFORE 7 a.m.
That could only mean ONE thing only:

TWO freaking hours of waiting!!!

I waited at the nearby McD & ordered breakfast.
I ate as slowly as I could & open up dear lappy to keep me company.
Still, its not even 8 yet...
I don't even know what else to do, so I just waited in front of the locked office.
The key-bearer arrived AFTER 9 a.m
*sigh*
Can u just imagine how much time I wasted on waiting instead on sleeping???
*sigh*

My first impression as I walked into the 4th level office is:

The front part is acceptable but the worker's area is baaaaad...
Everything is EVERYWHERE & people don't even have enough place to sit!
Even the Surau acts as a store room.
It is SUPER messy & super stuffy..
The boss said that he is going to move the office to a new location nearby perhaps in 2-3 months time.
The new place will be much more spacious & organized. (THANK GOD!!!)

So at the time being, hopefully GOD will give me the strength to endure this chaotic mess & for a clean freak like me, it is HELL!

U aint see nothin' yet!

Pardon me for being nosy or choosy...
Its not that I am not thankful, but it sores my eyes seeing unorganized things.
For me, from being a big organization into a medium firm, is still quite new & I need room to adapt myself...

But only God knows how happy & thankful I am for this opportunity & I hope Allah will give me guidance to a better & happy life, InshaAllah~

Of Petronas Coloured Nails & An Empty Certificate..

Yesterday, was the result after 5 years worth of blood, sweat & tears...
Yesterday, was a day for me to wear a fancy robe, get on a stage & take an empty certificate~
Yesterday, was my CONVOCATION DAY!

(YEEEAAAYYY!!!)

I can't sleep the night before. Perhaps I was too excited or even nervous...
Slept at 3 a.m & woke up at 7 a.m
It was still quite early coz my ceremony starts at 12.30 p.m.
Even Mama who spent the night at my house woke up very early & didn't know what else to do...

So I decided to continue painting my nails as I was too tired to finish it up last night.
I am not that good in painting anything ( except walls) so the result was like my nails were dipped in a barrel full of paint!
DISASTROUS!!!

TA-DAA!!!

It is suppose to be turquoise blue, but to me it looks like Petronas' corporate colour!

I asked Mr. Apek to send me & Mama to the ceremony hall months ago but when the time comes, he fell asleep at his house in Damansara.

PANIC ATTACK!!!

We were suppose to be there half an hour earlier. I don't wanna take the bus because I know it will be SUPER pact & we're gonna have to walk far just to get to the hall. I just pity Mama (& my make-up!)

Akak promised me to come on time as well, so I thought we could go to the hall with her but sadly, even she was still at home waiting for her husband to come just because she doesn't know the way ( even after countless visits to Shah Alam )

What a way to start my BIG day...
Its a good thing Mama's so-called adopted son ( whom I've never met) lives nearby & willing to send us there.
FEWH!

I was running very late & haven't even put on my robe yet.
It took me & Amoi almost 20 minutes just to find our way to the right queue amongst thousands of other students!
We had to get ready with our outfit in the line.
RUSH RUSH RUSH!

We had to wait for a few hours before getting up on stage to make way for boring speeches & even boring-er videos...

When our time is finally up, it was almost 5 already.
All of us were very nervous for our turn while lining up...
All I could think of is:

JUST DON'T FALL ON STAGE!

(and I wish my picture would turn out perfect!)

Finally, its MY turn!

All it takes was about 10 seconds...
But can u imagine all of those months in preparation for just that 10 seconds on stage??
And with an empty certificate???
I mean, I want the REAL thing!!!
CRAZY!

Eventhough yesterday was not the best-est day in my life, but it was not the worst either...
So I choose to forget about the ugly side & focus on what is important:
To be happy & be proud of my achievement!

OK!
Been too busy lately with job interviews & convocation matters this week so THIS is kinda stale but nevertheless, an experience...

U see, I was born in Taiping, Perak so there will always be this THING between me & this place that is very close to my heart.
So when Mama & Akak wanted me to come along to attend a wedding in Taiping last weekend, I couldn't say NO eventhough I was reluctant at first.

It was my uncle's wife's little brother's wedding...
(FEWH! such a loong connection)

We departed from K.L at around midnight & arrived at dawn.
Then we went straight to the bride's side Kenduri at Parit Buntar.
And THIS is the result of car lag & lack of sleep:

After that, my uncle brought us to see his wife's kampung nearby.

HAHAHA! Mama insisted on taking pics at the sugarcane plant very ol'skool!

Taiping is known to be the wettest ( is that correct?) city in peninsular Malaysia, if I'm not mistaken. So when the Rain City itself is not raining, just imagine the rest of the country...
Its CRAZY HOT!!!

But what else is best to quench the summer sun rather that a bowl of Taiping's famous:

CENDOL!

After the wedding, all of us thought of going to town & get ourselves some icy cold cendol but oh me oh my...Guess what I saw???

When we arrived at the Kenduri, to our amazement, my uncle brought the Cendol's Mamak to prepare cendol for guests!

This is even better!
We can eat our hearts out for FREEEEEEEE!!!!!

Lemme tell U on how I spend my day today...

11th MAY 2011:

I woke up at around 5 something this morning thinking on what else to do coz I can't sleep anymore because of the scorching heat...

Then, I decided to go JOGGING!

Started walking out if the house at around 7 a.m & reached a nearby park
Worked out for about an hour & head back home.

That is because I do NOT eat at all since yesterday!

I woke up early this morning, all prep up to go to work...
Me & May even got extra time to buy some breakfast and still be 15 minutes early to work~

We act normally & did our work expecting nothing interesting to happen when allof a sudden at around 12, Miss Superior said taht Mr. Boss asked to see us...

I'm beginningto have a very bad feeling about what is going to happen

With a shaky voice, he told us that our service in no longer required in the company because they need more 'experienced' worker & we can leave after lunch if we wanted to...

BAM!

It feels like my head had just been hit hard with a sledgehammer!

I had to act like everything is normal in front of my colleagues, or at least until lunch time...
So i did my work like nothing ever happened & I wish to walk out the door fabulously stylish & with whatever pride left in myself~
Coz frankly saying, my mind was thinking on how I would miss out on sugar coating my eyes with that new cute & tall 3-D designer boy...

So when we broke the expected news to our colleagues on lunch hour, they were quite shocked.
They give encouraging speeches & bid their goodbyes in the office pantry.

As what we see on TV, people usually pack their stuffs in nice boxes whereas us, we only managed to find some Mydin plastic bags...
Pathetic, VERY!

Crying is the last thing on my to-do list but when one of our closest colleague Millie started to cry, both of us just can't bear it any longer & we all broke down in tears, in the (where else?) pantry.

We had to hand back our worker passes to our so called Miss Superior & all i can think of is:
DANG! I haven't taken any pictures with the pass as a momento..

But...I do manage to get this!

Well....erm..I don't actually GET it but I took it coz it is fully marked with important dates & memos!
Besides, they got it for FREE from the suppliers anyway...

I still haven't told my family coz I am too scared of what their reaction will be especially Mama~

Its mothers day tomorrow & I feel so useless for not able to do something for her & instead will make her worry more...

Only my colleagues, Mr.Apek ( and his family ) knew...

His Mum even contacted her friends to ask about vacancies in my behalf without me even knowing!
I am SUPER embarrassed to the max but I am also as desperate as a mouse in a Lion's mouth...

Everyone knows that 'ALMOST' is never good enough but all I regret is that the SUPERIOR should've given us notice at least a week earlier so that we can prepare ourselves for the worst
( like finding another job of course!)

Was strolling around in Subang Parade with Mr. Apek this evening, deciding on what is for dinner when suddenly we saw his friend that I also knew walking alone...
So we stopped by & chatted.

THEN...

He looked at me and said:

Are U pregnant?

HELL NO!!!

I asked him what makes U say that?

He said: U don't look fat but why ur tummy is erm... bigger???

I said: What ever for??? I didn't do anything that could lead me to being pregnant!

He said: Ala.. chill la..we are all adults. I'm serious..U better go & check

I said: But I am having my erm..(full moon) right now, skipped lunch & I just had a large Starbuck's cream chip...

I'm BLOATED not PREGNANT!!!

(erm..well, perhaps it was some additional fats too~but cut me some slacks will ya???)

LabourDAY HoliDAY!

What did U do during the looong weekend?

I have no plans so I decided to follow Mama & my stepdad to visit his family in The Land of Faith:TERENGGANU DARUL IMAN!

Haven't been here for almost 10 years!

DAY 1: Saturday

We departed at around 7.30 a.m from Akak's house.
It took us around almost 8 hours drive fom K.L just to arrive ~
My butt soared for sitting too long in the car..
I can even feel it getting flattened!

Along the way all I can see is GREEN...
NO house, NO petrol stations, Not even a mosque in sight!
Just cars & more Palm trees...

The house is at Kampung Kemat, Kuala Berang.
It is situated in Hulu Terengganu, quite near to Kelantan...

As we arrived, there are no electricity because the cables outside were being repaired.
It was scorching hot (typical Terengganu's weather) & very dark in the house when night falls...
As I was sitting in the living room alone, a shiny thing came flying directly to me..It was only a bit later I realised that it was actually a Firefly!
Now, I haven't seen one of those in more than 10 years as they are extinctly fast...

What a sight!

The house is a very 'KAMPUNG' kampung house coz they don't even have flush in the toilet...
Being the clean-freak me, I can't accept things at first, but I do tried my best not to think about it too much~

By 10.30 p.m,
~SILENCE~

All I can hear is the sound of the crickets & Mama's super loud snore...
And I can't sleep!

At times like that really REALLY made me wish that I have a super expensive, fancy-schmancy, apps filled smart phone to kill my utter boredom~

I can't really communicate with the locals as I am lost in Translation...
So the best I could do is just, SMILE...

But they do have a pretty good side though...
Imagine having THIS in ur backyard!

I mean, this is pure bliss~
Untouched by human's dirty hands...

DAY 2: Sunday

The family decided to have a picnic at a nearby river called Sekayu.
It was only a 20 minutes drive away & we brought packed foods from home...

NOW I know why am I ALWAYS hungry! look at Mama!!!

While waiting for my stepdad to pick us up at the river's entrance, there was a bunch of Mat Remps ( U know what I mean~) next to us.
I was eating ice cream & all of a sudden there is a not so tall Remps came up to me and say:

"Nak sikit boleh?"

in a thick Ganu's accent that I struggled to understand at first.
My reply was:

"What the HELL???"

They all burst out laughing and said that I was "Skipping" English...

PFFFFTTT!!!

I HATE Mat Remps!!!

We packed immediately after arriving home & head out to my uncle's house in Kemaman...

Day 3: Monday
It's working day In Terengganu but my uncle went to his office only for a while to punch card & took us for breakfast. Luckily he is the boss!

U can't never come to Terengganu & NOT eat Nasi Dagang!
That will be the biggest sin~

guess what this is?? it is actually Tapai wrapped in Rubber leaves!

Then he took us to the best Kepok Lekor ( as the locals call it ) in town to buy some souvenirs.

After all that, we finally headed home to K.L & arrived at about 3 p.m
Eventhough I had to spend half of my journey flattening my rear end in the car, but it was very enlightening & exciting...

Wouldn't mind coming again!

Healthy is Wealthy!

To some people, the so-called 'healthy foods' are tasteless & unappealing ...
But being the weird me, I LOVE healthy foods!
Not just because it is good for my body but just because I dislike greasy & overly preserved stuffs...
Well, perhaps I'm used to it to because my Mama will feed us balanced & nutritious meal since we were kids.
So to me, fruits & veges are my BFF~
;)

Spreading the words to my friends & families are my favourite past time coz i am very VERY good at convincing people..
But I won't recommend them stuffs that I myself don't love...

So my latest recommendation is this:

Akak bought it first & when I first tried it, its fireworks!
SEDAP tau!!

Very fulfilling & great as a snack too!
I personally prefer the Fruits infused ones because obviously it tastes better than the plain cereal~

Now I even managed to influenced bunch of male co-workers to tried it & they are shocked at the unexpectedly good taste!

You can also follow the 14-days programme if u wanna lose some inches around ur 'fluffy' tummy..

Weekend Escapade

This is my first free night since almost last week. So pardon me for the late update...Been too busy with work or enjoying myself~
=p

Last weekend was our buddy, Nazrin's last weekend before going back to Scotland...
So we decided to spend every precious minute with him during the weekends.

On Friday, our friend Alia invited me, Fatso, Nazrin & naz's cousin to a Brazillian themed Capoeira party at Monash U in Sunway.

I rushed home straight from work just to get ready & be there in time. May May even volunteered to help me with my hair~
(Actually this is my first time styling my hair because whenever I tried to style it, It won't last coz my hair is dead straight!)

So, hair's done,
Heels up,
And I am ready to PAR-TAY!

NO! I'm no vampire...blame the flasher!

if u could notice, i bend my knees just so that Fatso will look taller than me~ AHAKS!!!

We arrived quite late there & all the foods were already gone!
Malaysians & free foods...
*sigh*

The performance was brief & looks unprofessional coz all they did is shake their barely there 'ASSETS' in front of people's faces & that is it!
I bet i could do better~
=p
But the music is OH-SOME!
It lasted all night long & I finally got to show my dance moves ( my first time, again...)

After all of the fats burned, we decided to chow in some good Burger Oblong in Kampung Melayu Subang. We chatted & chatted until wee hours about the good ol' days back in school~
(Although I'm not in the same school as theirs)

Then on Saturday, I spend the whole day helping Fatso doing his Design coz supposely he got his final submission on Monday.

Later that night all of us had a sleepover at Naz's place while me & Alia helped Fatso did hi work.
(such a lucky guy!)

The thing when being at Naz's place is, U will never be underfed coz there will always be foods & drinks around the clock!
(there goes my diet~)

He even brought some Scottish produce for us!

We had planned to go cycling for quite some time so we went on Thursday at Bukit Cerakah.
As we arrived, there are oceans of people there. Not really know what is the occasion but oh boy, there is many!

We even had to wait for almost 2 hours just to get our bike!
(due to the 3 pages waiting list)

Its ashamed that Fatso refuse to come with us even after much persuasion because he claimed to be busy with work (eventhough I know he'll end up sleeping~)

I had to pick a gear-less bicycle just because it is the only one with basket for me to put my bag in.

But oh me oh my..
Going up the hill is HELL!!!!!
I regretted my decision every single second going up that steep hill for one full HOUR!

Commitments

Adulthood = COMMITMENTS

Most people will relate it more towards relationships but to me, it is everything about being an adult....
And commitments will also mean one thing and ONE thing only:

$$$$$$$$$$

And I realised all of this after I started working when I often get headaches every month calculating my budgets.

To me, I personally prefer to call them OBLIGATIONS...
Because I have to oblige to it every single month (or I hoped so)

Family,
Study Loans,
Petrol,
Tolls,
Bills, Bills, BILLS!

I am not whining, coz like I mentioned before, OBLIGATIONS comes with ADULTHOOD..
All I need to do is to prepare myself for more invasions of obligations in the near future ~

Like my Dad always said, what most important is that U must have a saving to protect yourself during unexpected events (just in case)

Roadtrip: Manjung YOB!

Eventhough I was born in Taiping, Perak but i rarely set my foot in the state...
(blame it on the distance)

So everytime I have the chance to go there, I would always hop on for the ride.
Like last weekend when May May ( my house, room & office mate) asked me to follow her back home in Manjung, I was super EXCITED!

We head out on Saturday morning & arrived at about noon...
Watched TV while May was finishing some work that she needed to e-mail out ASAP.
Then, something hairy came to me...

May's cat is SUPER cute & fluffy && super gedik too!
He will lie down straight away after U touch it... (gedik sangat KAANN??)

After a delicious lunch ( credits to May's mummy cooking skills) we decided to head out to Ipoh for some tour at the mall~

*YEAAAYY!!!*

We went to Jusco Kinta City (my first time there)
As usual, bla bla bla SALE bla...
So I gotta do what i had to~

SHOPPING!!!!
:p

Got some grrreat cheap stuffs and then we headed out to the foodcourt to fuel up our body back on track.

Well, actually May May did...

Went back to Manjung that evening & May wanted to make her specialty dish:
Seafood Lasagna!
Now That is something I never tasted before...

May's dad brought some gifts from her Granny's house...

I had to stand the smell all the way to Shah Alam & the odour is still there until NOW!!!

After lunch, May taught me how to drive on her manual car...
Driving is HARD!!!
The car barely moved 10 meters!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

On the way back at Bidor, I saw some stalls selling famous local fruits so I knew I just had to buy those juicy & succulent fruits!!!

We safely arrived in Shah Alam at around 8 & i suddenly had the cravings for some Pak Li's toast since we were in Manjung.. So poor May had to drive me there just for this!

Been to occupied with work lately until I had to postpone posting about this...

But first,

Friday:

Last Friday marked my day of adulthood when I officially turned 18! (+6)

Mr. Apek treated me to a nice dinner at The Ship where I was force to eat something TOTALLY unexpected....
Yup, I can proudly say I ate SNAILS!

Escargot??? YIKES!!!

Amazingly, it doesn't taste as bad as I expected...No wonder the French consider this as their national cuisine!
But I don't think I'll order them in the future... (but doesn't mind eating them though)

*grins*

And for desserts, we went to Starhill Gallery's Shook Restaurant.
As you might now (IF u do) I am a DIE HARD FAN of cheesecakes! So, like I was put on AUTOMATIC mode, I ordered the Cheesecake Supreme & Oh Boy!!!

I dare say this is the BEST cheesecake I've ever tasted!!!
It is creamy without being too sweet or cheesy. The fruits enhances the tastes more!

OMG OMG OMG!
Even thinking bout it makes me go LOCO!

Almost forgot to mention about Mr. Apek's Creme Brulee...

Saturday:

We continued our celebration by going to the 3rd Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta
It rained heavily all the way there so we were quite worried because we really hope we could go on the balloon ride this year (as we missed last year because of what else? RAIN!)

We missed the morning ride so we PRAY that we could go on the evening session.
So we waited, and waited, and waited...

While killing the time, we decided to go on the Lake Cruise as they were having 50% off the normal ticket price.

Then,

SHRUSH!
(I don't know how to spell the rain sound)

It rained, AGAIN!

Great...

We had to find cover at a nearby cafe in the equine park & waited until the rain is gone...

We rushed straight to the ticket counter as we know that everyone wants the ticket after the heavy rain.
When we arrived, the line was already super long & the tickets were limited to 300 only.
We knew we're not going to stand a chance at getting a ticket, so we decided to wait for the fireworks at night.

Twinkle twinkle little star,
How I wonder what you are...

I have always been fascinated with the stars & galaxy above us ever since i could remember...
My dad used to buy me books or encyclopedias about the them & I will keep on reading until i fell asleep.

Even from when I was young, when other kids keep changing their minds on what to be when they grow up, all i could remember is i wanted to be an astronomer, then only comes my ambition in being an archeologist or an architect.

I still remembered what Abah said to me when i told him about my dream.
He told me that the working prospect of an astronomer in Malaysia is very little. U have to go overseas to study & obviously we couldn't afford that.
Besides, U have to learn very very hard in order to get a scholarship...

*gulps*

I asked him about my other passion in being an archeologist...
His reply was the same & he even told me that it is not an easy job for a lady~

*gulps*

He told me that all i could do is be an architect.
And that is what I am reaching for.
The road is long & windy but i know, one day I will reach the sky and be my own star...

I have long forgotten my dreams in being among the stars, but i can never let go of my fascination every time I look up in the night sky, gazing at God's greatest creation...

I HATE FILTHY TOILETS!!!
(well, don't u?)

Please please PLEASE people, eventhough u never clean the toilet up, but at least don't make a mess...
I am like a one-man army struggling to live in a better environment while hoping for u people to have the slightest awareness of my effort.
But sadly, everything is useless..

I don't know if u have a maid, servant or even a slave at home to clean ur toilets ( and i do pray that u people's toilets are cleaner there) but PLEASE have some courtesy.

There are 9 people currently living under one roof..why can't we take turns then?
If u don't wanna to spoil ur perfectly manicured nails by scrubbing, I understand, but at least help me by sweeping the floor or at least take the trash out.

I even endangered my own health a few times by using dangerously strong chemicals to remove the unsightly dirt when scrubbing just won't work!

I know u are busy with assignments bla bla bla...but 10 minutes every 2 weeks won't affect ur schedule ( i think... )

I am not trying to diss anybody.
All I'm asking is a cleaner, usable toilet...
Is that so hard to ask?

I hope one day a GENIUS will invent a self cleaning toilet & I will be the FIRST customer to order...

I don't mean to offend u petites *coughs* *midgets* *coughs* out there, but please do understand how does it feels like not blending in...

I am 165 cm & I've been QUITE tall all my life...
It is in the genes ( u should see my Dad ) so i never blamed anyone...

this is my cousin (I am still quite short eventhough I wore my tallest heels)
SEE what I mean?

I've been called with nasty names while growing up:
GIANT, FAT u just name it!
no one wants to be friends with the BIG girl...
no one wants to be friends with the UGLY girl...

I must admit that i wasn't the prettiest creature growing up but what gives u the right to call me those names???
I was created by HIM & so are YOU!
SO please please PLEASE be considerate!
I never asked to be this way~

I even hate it more when it comes to SHOPPING! (what else??)
It seems like all of the cute, pretty ( and cheap ) stuffs are all sized for the PETITE Asians...
My sizes are hard to find & are often too tight or too loose.

And do I have to mention about finding a guy TALL enough so that i could wear a 4-inch heels & still feel like a petite, innocent girl ( OK, TMI! )

So, the solution?
FLATS!

These babies have been my BFF since FOREVER!
(it is a good thing that I am tomboy-ish)
Cuts my spending on those expensive heels too...

My officemates were arguing on where to have lunch (as usual)

We all went to the elevator to go down

1.05 pm
DING!
*elevator door opens*
All of us went in, the elevator went up to the 12th floor, then down again to the 5th floor (i think)
3 senior citizens went in (despite the elevator being full)
*squeezes in*

DING!
*ground floor*
Elevator door is not opened.

::5 minutes later::
*door still not opened*

Elevator went up
1st floor
2nd floor
3rd floor
abruptly went down to the 2nd floor again...
*screams*

GREAT... we are stuck!

It has been a while since i went on a real adventure, and last Sunday i just did...
Ah Moi keep bugging me to come along with our bunch of friends for a so-called picnic by the waterfall. She said it'll be fun because her boify (who will later act as our guide) had been there a few times...
I was reluctant at first, but as she kept on pleading, i finally gave in~

I seriously thought it was just a normal drive, park & jump-into-the-water kinda waterfall, but good heavens am i in for a surprise!

The designated place is 2 and a half hours drive from Shah Alam to Kuala Kubu Baru in Hulu Selangor (somewhere near to Fraser's Hill) and another 40 minutes hike uphill (YES! that far!) through a forest reserve called CHILING (cool name ay?)
It is a good thing i came well prepared! (as i always do =p)

The water is indeed very CHILL-y & we soaked ourselves until our fingertips were shrunk & blue~

I dare say it is worth the every cut, bruise, sweat, blood & sprain that we all had during the trip...
Especially when u have very good friends to share it together with~

I managed to finish my first week at my new workplace.
Busy busy busy as usual but I really do feel better here as the colleagues are friendly & very, VERY helpful..

It was a DATE DAY with Mr.Apek today starting at his Grandma's house in Petaling Jaya where she cooked a MEAN feast of Briyanis & other dishes!

Then we decided to usher in the New Year together by exploring Bukit Bintang.

We did enough exploring (and shopping), all right !

The Sale was CRAZY but the people there are CRAZIER!

We decided to leave early because everyone knows how bad the traffic will be once the sun sets.
But once we left the building... OMFG!!!

Its like the whole of the Armed Forces were there!
Police, Army, Rela & even the FRU, man!!!

I was thinking, is there going to be a war or something???
Trying to escape from BB is agonizing enough & we were so darn relieved once were outta that place in ONE PIECE!

So its celebrating New Year in front of the TV for us then!

2011 is just a few hours away & i am SO not ready to usher it into my life...
I am gonna be 24 tomorrow & frankly, i am SO freaking out!
I mean, i haven't really achieved anything significant in life & i thought i could change the world la konon by the time i'm 25! (YES! such a naive thought~)

So what is in store for me in 2011?
What do i want to achieve???

Well, i am putting up sort of a (realistic) list of things that needs to be achieved in 2011:

1. Get a frigging DRIVING LICENSE!
2. Get a well paid REAL job
3. Go on a well deserved vacation ( i'm thinking SINGAPORE!)
4. Get THINer & be more wonderfully BEAUTIFUL! (as if..)
5. And finally, Get myself THIS!

OK...

After MORE than 5 years, i FINALLY finished my studies...
So, what else is on everybody's mind once they've graduated?
yes, WORK!

But WORK is not a priority to me right now as i am lovin my life nowadays.
Because after more than 5 years, i am FINALLY living my LIFE!

I spent more time with my family, re-connect with old friends, shopped, ate non-stop, is learning how to drive, went hiking & doing things that i didn't have time for before and actually enjoyed every single bit!

Because surely as the digits in my bank account is decreasing, i will have to find a proper job.

Who said i didn't do anything during my LOOONG break?
I am now stationing at my sis's before going back home.
Her house is like a pit-stop for me to keep some stuffs from my former rented home in Shah Alam~
(not just some, actually, if u know me...)

So,as an almost-full-time maid to my sis,

I cleaned,
I pimped up the place a bit (even managed to pull in a flower arrangement for the living room)
I helped take care of my nephew,
& I COOKED!

To those skeptics pot there,
yes people,I CAN cook!

I don't usually do it because of time scarcity, but will oblige whenever i have the time ( & sources)
And when i do, i usually will carve a smile n people's faces~
(pardon the vanity)
*grins*

Because i am quite the experimental cook, always hungry to try new recipes.

Evacuation Process!

I've been struggling for a few days now to pack & move my stuffs from Shah Alam.

Because i wanna live with my Mama in JB, i was forced to segregate my stuffs into two.

1 part that i wanna leave at my dad's in Muar & 1 that i need to bring to Mama's

(It's hard having more than 1 home ya know...)

I even have to drag Mr.Apek to help me & sort things out!

heheheheheheheh...

My other biggest problem is that i have to pay the December rent if my stuffs are still there on the 1st of December.

CRAZY ah???

I am NOT willing to pay a fortune just to place my stuffs there for a while~

So, i had to separate my stuffs to 4 different places because there are just too many!

(especially my 4 LUGGAGE full of clothes that still hasn't include a box full of bags & shoes)

;)

We haven't eat the whole day & had burnt all of our calories on moving those SUPER DUTY stuffs~

Then, where else is a better place for two savagely tired & famished people to satisfy their deepest desire than Carl's Jr. HEAVEN!

Both of us ordered a combo meal with an additional Chili Fries and miraculously, we managed to finish them all...

(o' boy aren't we hungry!)

So now, i could breathe easily as another job on my to-do-list was a success...

Tomorrow, i am going back home to settle out yet another queue on my list.

My lil'cousin, Faisal entered a singing competition called

on Astro Ceria (channel 611) so me, akak & his family went to watch his first performance last Saturday~

We were told by the management to be there by 11a.m because they are gonna start shooting at 2p.m.
So my anxious uncle forced us to be there early and we were there by 10 a.m!

After more than 5 hours of waiting & falling down from my chair ( i will always find a way to embarrassed myself in PUBLIC!), we finally went in to the studio.


my first time in a REAL studio... so JAKUN!

We were so in high spirit, we brought hand-made posters that i made that morning itself!

The show went on and on for almost 4 hours. It is amazingly long considering it is just a 30 minutes show!
We were forced to shout & clap over & over again until our palms are sore...

We were the littlest supporter (only 6 of us) compared to other contestant but oh boy!
don't we cheer the loudest!
Especially when the judges announced that my cousin is the first weekly winner!!!
;)

The recorded show was telecast today at 5.30 & 9 p.m.
My face was featured more on TV compared to rock legend, Amy Search who was their mentor...
So don't forget to watch my cousin ( and me) every Friday 5.30 & 9 p.m on Astro Ceria & astro Prima!
I guess i AM popular now~

1) Kamal's Corner, Pusat Komersial Sek.7 : Garlic Cheese Naan

My favourite supper!
Man, it tastes like PIZZA...

2) Laksa Utara & Cendol Pulut, Seksyen 7 (next to MO'MEN)

This is the best laksa (next to my mama's) that i can find here...
This little stall offers authentic northern style Laksa & various Cendols.
My evening quick fix~

3) Asiari, SACC Mall, Shah Alam.

Their lunch set is SO affordable & SO delicious!
Starting from around 10 bucks, u can get all of the above including ice lemon tea...
But my personal fav is the MANGO FRAPPE~
divine.....

A tribute to En.Yacob

Too many deaths this year & this is my third...
Last Saturday marked another big turning point in my life where someone important in my life was taken away forever...
I was SO shocked when i heard about the news & can't stop crying.
Out of all people, i just never expected this..
I am sorry for not coming to your funeral but i will give the world to be there!

He was not only a lecturer, but he was a guider, confidante & most of all, he was a friend~
I've known him since my early years as an architecture students where he was my studio master & had been close to him since then.

He always will give you a helping hand whenever you need it & will always try his very best to untangle any problems.
He doesn't mind chilling with anyone because he is humble & down to earth.
He will NAG at you whenever he sees you doing nothing because i know he cared SO much about his students.

He once told me the last time we met that he doesn't want to see my face again next semester & i guess he really won't...

They say GOD is only lending GREAT people to us to make our lives better.
Well i guess that is so true.
I really don't have anything bad to say about him because he REALLY is a nice man~

I miss your nagging already sir.....

Last Thursday night was my Pre Graduation Dinner.
Me & my mates were shopping like crazy so that we will look our best!
I had to buy EVERYTHING from head to toe because i had no fancy stuffs in my wardrobe...

We went mall hopping for 2 days straight & i accumulated i had walked more than 20km!!!

These workload are really stressing me out!

So i took a walk outside, alone...

While sitting & looking at my phone, a car slowed down from a distance & stopped about 5 metres ahead of me.
One of the 4 passengers suddenly asked me about the location of Section 7, so i just pointed out to my back without saying a word & i continued looking at my phone.

Suddenly, the car reversed right in of my face & the same passenger asked me another question...
"Where is Section 14?"
I just replied that i don't know & looked away~

Deep in my heart, i was telling myself why on Earth are these people still doing here???
Then, the passenger asked again, with a scary face.
"Where are you going? Want a ride?"
*evil grin*

I was completely taken aback & gave the guy a weird reaction.
I was SO ready to lift my legs up & run away...
For a few minutes there, i tried to keep my cool & waited for their next move...

Then i can't take it any longer & i walked away~

I was SO relieved eventhough my hands are still trembling!

On the way back home, all of a sudden a dark coloured car slowed down next to me, opened the window & there comes out the SAME creepy face!!!

I panicked!

But thank GOD there were some people nearby~
So the creepy car just drove away...

It was an experience i NEVER want to have again...

This bold and exciting teacher that hailed from Parit, Perak had created a huge tidal wave amongst the Malaysian internet community forming a crater along the way, dividing the lovers and the haters...

Personally, i am neither a lover nor a hater but i respect her way of expressing herself and HELL, she's funny!!!

She doesn't really care bout what others said bout her making a fool out of herself eventhough it seems like almost half of Malaysians are going against her...

People said that she brings shame to the teaching profession but to me as long as she didn't do anything stupid or X-rated, then it is fine...

I really pity her when people say bad thing about her and exposing her flaws.
There is even a hate page on Facebook!

I mean, is it necessary???
just delete or ignore her videos if you don't like it, RIGHT???

This really proves on how gullible and negative Malaysians are~

So please, give some support to our own people for willing to express themselves...

Rain Rain Go Away...

I needed to post an item for my Closet POP! customer after class today but Mr.Apek was very busy and he can't send me to the post office.

So i decided to go there on my own because i had made a promise to the customer & no matter how hard, i have to stick to it!

I went to the parking lots at the faculty and then went straight to the bus stop to wait for the bus.
While walking, 3 buses had passed me but luckily i don't have to wait long for the fourth bus...

At the Menara SAAS, it began to rain & i rushed quickly to reach for shade~
Then,

ALL HELL BREAKS LOSE!

The rain was so heavy, i had to wait for nearly an hour for it to slow down...
But sadly, it didn't~

I tried asking for a friend's help but apparently the rain was to heavy for her to reach the parking lot.

Bored & worried about the piles of work that i had to do, i decided to buy an umbrella.
Went to the UiTM's souvenir shop, grabbed an umbrella that cost a WHOPPING RM20!!!

UiTM sure is famous for burning a hole in my pocket ESPECIALLY during desperate times...

I called my friend to tell her that i already got an umbrella and she doesn't have to bother about me...
Then, she told me that she is on her way to pick me up~

She asked me to wait at the nearest parking lots down the hill because she had to pick up her sis first.
Again, i waited for her for nearly 15 minutes, then i called...

She said she was at the top of the hill waiting for me~

So i had to walk all the way up again and it is not near mind you...
On the way to the hilltop, i was admiring my newly bought umbrella thinking it was not that bad~
At least it is colourful & cute...

But then, to my horror, i discovered that the handle had a huge crack across it!

Please pray that i could change the umbrella back tomorrow or...

There goes my 20 BUCKS!!!

I just finished watching a movie called the "3 Idiots"

It was a good story...LONG, but simple & fun.
The movie is loaded with meaningful messages that touched my heart~
Who would have thot that watching a Hindi movie could be this enjoyable?

GOD! I really REALLY wished that i got that kinda friendship...

SUPER MASSIVE TIREDNESS

is all i felt this past few days...

Been working non stop from morning till late night~
Cleaning & cooking & cleaning again...
The vicious cycle seems endless!
Well, it is Raya after all, right?

It's Raya tomorrow & we are cooking at full throttle!
There's Ketupat, Rendang, Lodeh, Chicken Curry, Fried chicken, Sambal goreng, Fruit Pudding Soup & even BELANGKAS!

I just found found out that my cat, Mr.Bobby had died on the 1st of July 2010 through my sister's previous FB's status (which i NEVER noticed!)
What makes it more painful is the fact that nobody even bothered to tell me about his death~

I was so shocked, i cried until i could not even breathe~
Call me emotional but he is the best cat u could ever own...
Bobby is obedient, playful & very very cute!
I don't care if my mum spoils him to bits because he deserved it.

Abah said that he had some sort of ulcer in his tummy. My brother noticed it after he gave him a shower the night before bobby's death.
The next morning my dad found him frozen stiff on the floor. He was only 2 years old!!!
Abah said it was an easy death & Mr. Bobby seemed happy~

R.I.P Mr Bobby...

U will always be missed~

I have to practice that in front of the mirror & keep that in mind for the next 24hours!

Last Saturday, went to KLCC to participate in DATUM:KL
It is an international architectural design conference ( sounds bloody fancy, right?)

Well, i could proudly say now that i am now longer a DATUM virgin~
=p

It was a dream of mine to go to such event but obviously i couldn't afford to pay for the price of the pass...
(because it is going to burn 300 bucks in my pocket...YIKES!)

But a miracle happened, & someone managed to gave me & Mr.Apek passes to participate but only on the second day~
(i am thankful enough)

Who is that mystery someone???
It is for me to know & for U to find out!

Actually the passes belongs to some foreign guests who got invited but didn't come to the event.
(i know, pretty ungrateful~)

But that has opened another door for us virgins to go instead!

I got a pass for a person named Angeline. She is an architect from The Philippines while Mr.Apek got someone named BAMBANG!

The conference started at 9 and ends at 6

It was a long-enlightening-pain in the a** experience but hey, we got FREE FOODS!!!

Later that evening, both of us went home with a mixed feelings:

Tired, Full, Butt Pain ( for sitting too long) bot most importantly, Enlightened...

KLUE-less Urbanites

Yesterday, I rushed back to Shah Alam all the way from Muar just to catch up with one of the most anticipated event in K.L, KLUE's Urbanscapes~
( Please don't tell my parents =p)

Me & Mr.Apek arrived later that evening & stayed until night...
We went for the late Yasmin Ahmad's tribute screening of Mualaf & decided to leave after an hour (eventhough it is a good movie but we have limited time to spare)
After some time, i just realized that i had left my pakage containing some pastries & cupcakes inside.
We went back in the screening area but someone had stole our Wondermilk Cupcakes & i haven't even had a bite!!!
(GRRRRRR....)

Later at night, we head out to Naz's house to eat for FREE at his barbecue party ( Thanks Naz!)
We saved our tummy since noon just for that by the way~
=p

New semester is going to start next week~
Looking back, i think i had a full & content semester break with loads of fond memories & experiences...

J.B foods 101 (PART 3)

**OK, i lied, its a 3 part post, not 2..Hey, i already told u its a LONG STORY**

Was getting ready & suddenly the phone rang...

We're HERE!

OMG!

I haven't even ironed my shirt...

It's a good thing i've showered & packed~

The poor folks had to listen to Mama telling them all about our life ( from A-Z) while waiting for me...

(YES, Mama is EXTREMELY friendly...don't say i didn't warn u..)

So, after offering the folks a drink, we head out to J.B in search of local delicacies~

(i kept bragging to them that J.B has all the GOOD & CHEAP FOODS~)

Our first stop, KACANG POL BOMBA LARKIN.

Very famous among J.B-ans.

It is actually a thick gravy mixture of minced beef, beans & spices. U eat it with a thick toasted bread...

HO - LIAO!!!

The always -hungry-lads ordered otak-otak & sizzling chicken chop to accompany the 'Main Course'

And everything disappeared in matter of MINUTES!

Then, we continued our journey to J.B pride, City Square!

But it was raining along the way & our ride got into a little accident on the slippery road...

The Amoi who bang our car was "gentleman" enough to take the blame & pay for the damage...

The boys was trying to act cool in front of this cute Amoi~

Thank GOD it was not THAT serious & most importantly that everyone is fine~

Inside, i managed to persuade them to try my favorite place to have egg tarts!

A day of happiness, shock & misery (PART 2)

Thursday:

Mama had asked for my help the day before to help out at her stall in the morning because her partner is on vacation.
So i woke up at 4 A.M to help mama set up her lil stall selling breakfast. It was extremely cold ( it was a good thing i hadn't showered before that =p )

At around 7.30 A.M, it was still quite gloomy & windy.
Mama said that perhaps it is going to rain...
And after a few minutes, it was RAINING~

The wind was very strong & while Mama tries to hold the big umbrella from falling, she herself fell....

Poor Mama...

I screamed for her & quickly help her out...

both of us were drenched in rain while trying to hold on to whatever that we could from flying away~

I almost cried but i pretended to be strong for Mama's sake~

Thank goodness the storm was not for long....

After we had sold out all the foods, we head back home...

I NEED TO PACK!

OK, i had never done a 2 part post before but trust me, its gonna be an UBER long post & u people might not finish reading by bedtime...
So, here we go!

Wednesday:

On wednesday nite, i got a few calls & messages on my cell from Mr.Apek asking when will i be back home to Muar. By that time, i could already smell something fishy was going on... (YES, i have a super strong instinct!)
So, i called Mr.Apek back & asked him :" Where are u?"
He said that he was not sure~
Then i asked him again: "Are u coming to J.B?"

****silence****

~~ LAUGHTER ~~

I KNEW IT!

Finally he spilled the beans...
He was somewhere in Muar with his bestie Naz & Naz's lil cuz planning to surprise me on Thursday morning...

No wonder he kept asking for my address!
I can already sense it by that time, i SWEAR to GOD!
(YES, i spoiled the surprise but don't blame me having a super strong instinct...)

I was screaming with joy & quickly rushed to the kitchen & tell Mama.
My feet was of the ground my head is on"Cloud Nine"~

I was SOOPA DOOPA excited & happy because i haven't seen him for about 2 weeks now ( it may not seem long to u people, but to me it feels like a LIFETIME! **exaggeration intended**)

Mama just watched & smiled.....

Since last Friday, i had been following mama to the weekend 'PASAR KARAT' near Pasir Gudang.
(but we didn't go on Saturday coz the car broke down & i went out for a reunion with my friends)

It was an hour drive from our house & i have to sit at the back with tonnes of other stuffs which left me with a very tiny space to move (can't even put my legs down~)

Prisoner me~

We were quite early today but it was raining heavily. So we were the first there~
We started at around 5 & wrapped up at 11 p.m

Not many people was there as it was quite new & the organizer's lack of promotion...
But the sale was OK compared to Friday ( which was VERY, VERY bad)

I sold some of my stuffs from my Closet POP! & mama sold her aromatherapy perfumes with some woman's accessories~
It was very tiring but i guess it was worth it because i managed to get some extra pocket money...
=)

When i finally went out the house, an overwhelmed feeling just came rushing in my heart.
Perhaps i'm being too sentimental but i am the type of person who will easily feel attached to something familiar & quite frankly, i don't wanna go back home that long~

I mean, what will i do back home aside from doing a rigorous routine of cleaning & cooking?
I had intended to find a part-time job to support me during both the holidays & my coming semester
( as i only have 1 FREAKISHLY ANNOYING subject to finish~)
An extra money never hurts right? I can't depend on my family that much coz my dad still has 6 more mouth to feed (excluding his)

Ever since the start of the semester, this is what i've longed for, a BREAK!
but i don't want an ordinary brake...I need a VACATION! a holiday away from it all~

I envied people who could afford to escape their everyday life & leave them behind, even for a while~
I have too many commitments towards my family & myself ( not to whine ) but i am truly aware that some people are just more privileged than others (thus the name of this blog =p )

Someday, perhaps...

As i packed my pile of stuffs yesterday in my empty, quite rented house, i sat & think hard on what to bring back home~
I SERIOUSLY can't live without the right pair of shoes or bags & i ULTIMATELY care about my colour coding...
So OBVIOUSLY a pair of shoes & bags is NOT ENOUGH!!!
I narrowed down my choices, carefully hand-picked so that the shoes & bags i brought will match all of my clothing desire~
Just to be on the save side, Black & White can NEVER fail u....
I had to say a bitter farewell to my lovely Chloe's & Mango's but i definitely can't leave my Claiborne's behind.

NO NO NO!!!

I wish i had bigger luggage bag coz mine just couldn't accommodate everything~
I had to bring another tote just for my shoes....
geez~

I went back home to Johor on Saturday ( coz my dad nagged me to do so) then have to go back to Shah Alam the next day because i had to meet my adviser on Monday : coz i lost my weekly attendance sheet for my research & i need her to resign a new one
(No, i don't treat my house like a hotel eventhough sure feels like it)

So here i am on a hot Monday noon, walking for half an hour to the faculty with full spirit just to see her but when i do, she asked me to fill in the comments she had wrote before this first~

I was like....WHAT?????
ZAHARAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

How am i suppose to REMEMBER??????
I can hardly remeber my Mama's Birthday!!!
(pathetic, i know...but hey, they don't invent reminders for nothing... =p)

I've been Miserably sick for the past few days...i had fever, flu & i keep coughing until i can feel my lungs are coming out!
Perhaps its the weather or perhaps GOD is punishing me for having so much fun ( and LUCK!) shopping when i promised myself that i need to save up...

Let me take u down my memory lane to about 3 days ago.......
( cloudy cloudy cloudy...)

..: I was having this miserable day...I cried non-stop for a few hours until i can hardly breathe~
(for some reason that was too boring too mention yada yada yada...)
So, Mr.Apek decided to cheer me up by taking me out for a date. So we head out to Sunway Pyramid, bought ticket to watch Prince of Persia (on the first day mind you...) and while waiting for our 7 p.m movie, we decided to kill our time window shopping....

We went in Forever 21 & while browsing, i was so taken aback by the SUPER DUPER cheap sale!
Without further a due, i grab a few stuffs, went straight to the fitting room & then straight to the cashier~
Got 3 cool stuffs that i am really satisfied with...(smiling all the way to the movie that's for sure!)

After the awesome movie, i need to buy some toiletries n stuffs.....Surprisingly, i got everything for almost half the price i used to pay!!!
(Now THAT is what i call a GOOD SHOPPING DAY~)

It was nearly 10 & the mall was about to close down.so we head to the parking area & to my amazement (surprise surprise) i met 2 people i miss the MOSTest ( sorry for the exaggeration)

I mean, i' ve been yearning to meet them since a year ago but we kinda got lost in contact...
Our brief meeting was such a pleasant surprise~ :..

What a good way to end my HALFly perfect day =)

I think it is worth every drop of all this mucus running out of my nose don't you think so???

Gosh, I really REALLY to start saving from N.O.W!!!

We had a nice fancy-schmancy dinner last night at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co at The Curve...
Its our first time there so we're a bit alienated with the system
:: especially Mr.Apek~ ::
(One of the reasons we went there was because we got a 20bucks coupons... ;p)

We ordered 2 courses & i'm lovin my 'Run Forest Run' drink!
The portions are humongus & we ended up not finishing our foods~(coz the portions are HUMONGUS!

Seeing that we're no longer Bubba's virgins, we're gonna come back that's for sure!

But tonight, ironically i only ate fried eggs & salted fish for dinner......

Miserably Failed Attempts

We've been planning to go jogging for 2 days in a row now but both of our attempt failed miserably as HE couldn't wake up in the morning...I woke up at 6.30 a.m & have to wait for him for 2 more hours before he really REALLY opened his eyes up~ (He REALLY got issues with waking up!)

We then decided to go for breakfast instead with his sis ( as i am no longer in the mood to jog )
His sis got some free McD coupons so we just stuffed ourselves (so much for dieting...@__@)

He even promised me to go to the gym later that evening ( which he just let it slipped away, AGAIN!)

I wonder when will i FINALLY got to realize my dreams in losing this extra baggage....
hmmm~

OMG.....
it had been more than 2 months since my last post~
SO much had happened...from triumphs to losses, to death
Been too occupied with my projects until i have no spare time left to post anything on this blog~
(the other reason is being too lazy to even type a full sentence...)
=p

Now that i had all the time in the world, i don't even know where to start!

At 60, an uncle of mine just passed away a few days ago...eventhough we're not blood-related, we are very close since my late great grandma raised him up since he was a child~

Unable to hold my emotions at his funeral, i burst into tears...He looked so thin...he must have suffered a lot during his 1-year battle after a nasty head injury...

His death is also the reason i finally went back to the ground i was born into after nearly 5 years~
So, i was very thankful despite my grieve...

Rest in Peace Cik Pin...
May u be by HIS side forever......

Saturday : From K.L to Shah Alam using LRT --> Pack stuffs --> Moved to a new house --> Meeting with Business partners --> Buy items for Sunday's booth --> Preparing the packaging, name cards, price tags & Promotions

Sunday : At Subang Parade ALL day from 10am to10pm --> Unpacks stuffs --> Staying up to do Design works for Monday's class

*Not to mention serious lack of sleep, minimal food consumption & energy lost~
